Rural Poverty Alleviation Foundation Adopted by the Great Parliament of the People's Republic of Bangladesh on 8 November 1999

             

And approved by His Excellency the President A permanent institution established by Act No. 23 of November 10, 1999.
Vision 6
A poverty-free Bangladesh without exploitation and discrimination 
Where poor men and women will live with equal dignity and their just rights will be established And will enjoy and contribute directly to the mainstream socio-economic development of the country.

 

Mission 6
  1. By raising awareness, creating and developing organizations and building a saving spiritSocio-economic empowerment of backward men and women by establishing their rights.
  2. Economic and social development of poor and disadvantaged people through financial assistance and training assistance through lending.
  3. Development of leadership through human resource development and training, efficient, entrepreneurial creation and full development of human resourcesPoverty alleviation through the creation of family marriages and employment centered on women from disadvantaged families.

    To promote the development of gender equality in order to develop the economic and social progress of the disadvantaged people.
     
  5. To make all stages financially self-sufficient.
Strategy 7
The goal of empowering disadvantaged people is to focus on women in the family Involve all members i.e. some men and women in the development process.

ঃ PDBF Goal

  • To improve the socio-economic condition of the rural poor and to promote gender equality.
Objectives of PDBF 6
  • Creating strong groups by organizing disadvantaged men and women So that they can plan, decide, manage and control for their own socio-economic development.
      
  • Improving the financial condition of backward women and men by providing them micro-credit assistance and engaging them in various income generating activities.
  • To build the members with a saving attitude and to build capital through savings.
  • Ensuring the access of members to the target population to use the various resources and facilities provided to them through linkages with the government and other non-governmental organizations.
  • To enhance the qualifications, skills and potential of the target population through training for sustainable development in their lives.
